Bought this scale as part of my regimen while on holiday. I read the reviews...I should have listened. I tested it before I went and it was accurate (as others have said) +/- 1.3lbs. But it was wonderful. I knew I had a basic level. It's stupid easy to use. Sit down... The scale turns on and when it reaches the weight, it blinks twice and after a while it turns off. It needs a little balance, but okay. It's small. The other day... it came up with 8888 and then shut down. I thought maybe the battery, but it's brand new... well, a cheap screw is so tiny it takes a wrench to fix a pair of glasses and so tight I can't get it out. Another $8 down the drain for the battery and goggle kit. *rolls eyes* Save your money. Find something else. i know i am
