I have used many variations of this humidifier over the past 4 years and the unit has not changed much over the years. The latest version has a chamber where you can add flavors that I don't use. Pros1 - The device is very easy to use. You fill the tank with water, place it on the base, plug it in and turn it on. Nothing out of the ordinary and very simple.2 - You can buy a separate antimicrobial cartridge insert that you throw in the water tank, which is designed to prevent the growth of mold and odor-causing microbes and keep the tank cleaner longer.3 - You can buy a demineralization cartridge that will replace the Replaced tank cap, prevents white dust and keeps minerals from escaping from your water. 4 - The accessories listed in #2 and #3 are not too expensive compared to other humidifiers from other manufacturers. straight ahead - you have three settings. And the night light is easy to use. 6 - The water tank will hold enough water for at least 3 nights when fully filled and used for a small to medium sized room. (I recommend only filling the tank halfway and lifting it up after each night of use.) 7 - Very compact size given its reliability and capacity. Cons - I only have one complaint: 1 - It could be easier to clean if the hole you put the water in was bigger. I wish I could stick a sponge in there to clean the tank better, but I really can't - can the hole be 1.5" in diameter? I prefer this humidifier to any other device that costs over $100 and requires expensive accessories. This humidifier will last at least a few years if you take care of it, but given the price, you won't regret throwing it away after a year or two of use.
