Judging from the pictures I was a bit concerned if they would work. It shows that the inside of the socket is made of plastic. How do I make electrical contact? It turns out that there is a strip of metal inside. I got this as a solution for my low voltage outdoor lighting. I have a standard light and the 12 volt bulbs were expensive, hard to find and didn't last long. I wanted to switch to 12V LED bulbs but there are very few of them with a standard (medium) E26 base. But there are many 12V LED lamps with E12 sockets.
