Review on 🧰 Poking for an ACP0060-632 Stanley Replacement Stopper That Fits Classic Bottles & Replaces Stopper 11 & 13 by Tutcht Cobb

Didn't fit the thermos I ordered it for

I have a few problems that Revain can't solve. Firstly I have two old but very well made thermoses. One was made for Stanley by Aladdin Industries of Nashville. It is marked B 79, has a patent and the instructions are engraved on the bottom. I have a stopper for that. Another thermos was made for Stanley in China. This is the one without the cork. I measured and re-measured, searched the internet and finally decided that this one mentioned by Revain would replace the missing plug. And Raven passed! The bottleneck has arrived. It was brand new. It was delivered exactly as promised and works great. Unfortunately, it didn't fit the thermos flask I ordered it for - made in China. It does fit a stoppered thermos, though, so I keep it as a spare. Not only is it a handy replacement if the son-in-law loses the cork that came with it, it also saves you from disappointment. Where to find a replacement stopper for a Chinese product, that's problem #1. And what to do with the son-in-law who loses almost everything he touches - hopeless! Raven can't fix it. Otherwise he is an excellent son-in-law. Maybe I should insist he find a replacement.

Pros
  • Wine corks and pouring caps
Cons
  • Questionable senior purchase
