yes it is that good

If you've convinced yourself that you are the elite and should be spending 3-4 times or more the cost of this oven, read no further. If you are looking for a very well made easy to fire kettle for frying eggs then this is it. I wanted this design because of its wide flame base. Smaller surface area on some others, boils water with no issues but creates a hotspot for boiling. It has wide pan flanges, making it very easy to cook food in a "regular" pan or skillet. I have fried eggs in an 8 inch pan and there is more than enough room for them. This stove has a small flame and I have read, although not tried, that others have cooked rice on it. No, it doesn't have a piezo ignition. I don't understand why this is so important to some, unless the basic concept of starting a fire with a lighter is alien to them. I weighed the stove with a canister of fuel and then gave up for the night. Weighing again the next morning showed no leakage. One reviewer said it leaked a bit, but after applying silicone to the rubber seal, the leak stopped. Comes with a very well made case but with one downside. It would be nice if they added some padding but I don't see it as a big deal as it will be in my backpack.
