These reels worked as expected. I've been using these types of rollers for almost 50 years, so they're not new to me. People complain about them "breaking", but they are designed to separate where two sections meet. The trick is to open them all the way before twisting your hair. And of course they will tear again. I wish there were more larger rolls in the package than the smallest rolls.
