I needed a pair of wired headphones or headphones to take advantage of the new high-resolution lossless audio that's now available on most music streaming services. Lossless audio files are too big to use Bluetooth and I'm sure someone will come out with wireless headphones or earbuds that can handle larger files. Before that, I tried various wired devices as well as a portable DAC (digital-to-analog converter). You need a DAC (I use Fiio https://amzn.to/3gDwcYH) to drive wired headphones or headphones to take advantage of Hi-Res lossless audio. These in-ear headphones are a good choice. There are a few reviewers who don't think they're the best, but for the price you can't beat them. The physical size of the headphones makes it very difficult to get everything from deep bass to crystal clear highs, but you can spend ten times what they do for a modest upgrade. They will work well without much investment as new material with lossless audio release will be available soon. Highly recommended!
