These pads are definitely better than the original pads but after an hour you will be a little sore. The drivers are positioned closer to your ears, to the point where your ears touch the headphones. The noise reduction is a little lower than the original, I think you won't feel any difference. As other people have said, it takes about ten minutes to install the ear pads. I know it's not easy, but I prefer them to the original. long gone. Now I can use my HD 4.50 BTNC every day (at least for a longer period of time). Sound seems better because your ears are a little closer to the speakers (which is good). Do I recommend ear pads? Yes! are they perfect No, but this is the best solution if you are one of those who cannot use their headphones with the original ear pads. So far I haven't been able to find anything better for my headphones. In fact I had them like a paperweight because the original blocks are the worst.
