My entire kitchen consists of these two brands. We have a KitchenAid blender and everything, toaster, coffee maker, grill, Cuisinart food processor. I like the quality of these brands because cooking is also a hobby for the whole family. Need a new little thermometer because the last digital one sank in the sink. I wanted something that wouldn't die if accidentally dropped in liquid. Very robust construction with excellent double holder/case. Out of curiosity, I compared it to the accuracy of my digital turkey thermometer and it was about 5 degrees warmer (assuming my turkey thermometer is accurate). Overall very happy with size and quality. I will say that the text is very very very small so reading it might be a problem for some like me. As a general guide it's fine, if you're looking for 2-3 degrees of accuracy you might want a larger digital display or something with a larger display overall.
