Review on πŸͺ΅ Mini Floating Aquarium Log by Zoo Med by Rachel Johnson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Unnecessarily bulky and not suitable for a lidded aquarium

I have a 20 gallon swim tank with a fluorescent dome and the lid won't close because it's sticking out of the water. I guess that would be fine for some settings, but I'm quite surprised they call this thing "Mini", maybe they mean when the big guy is called "Kid". It just seems a lot bigger than it should be. It's well done, I only had to sand down a few rough edges, that's good. I wish I could rate it higher, but since I can't use it at all and it's $10 down the drain, it's hard to justify more than 3 stars. Added: I bought a Zoo Med Betta Log from a local store. . It's smaller than that and perfect for a single Betta. I can close the lid with no issues and it's a lot less intrusive. I would recommend this product for small tanks or large tanks with a lid where you don't need a log that big. My Betta loves the smaller tree trunk.
