This is a useful set of towels and tools for washing and beautifying the exterior of your car. I found the washing sponge/pad to be a bit flimsy, not holding enough suds and water to really flood the area being washed to wash away the sand, but that was fine. The soft-abrasive plastic mesh on the back is good for getting rid of insects stuck in the gut without damaging the surface. Microfiber towels come in two sizes and are plentiful, and they've done a good job of being used as suede to remove water droplets and help prevent water stains. They will never replace a real chamois, but not bad! The brush worked well on my rather difficult alloy wheels and got into all nooks and crannies well. One thing is certain; While the nylon pouch that the kit comes in is good enough, you'll never put it all back in. It's densely packed, it's almost difficult to spread out the set so no space is wasted. For me, that's not a problem - once everything is clean and dry, I keep everything in the same 5-gallon bucket I used to wash the car, so I use the bag for something else.
