Definitely kills snails. There were so many snails, I had problems with ichthyophthyriasis, and the higher temperature in the aquarium helped only minimally. I noticed that the dosage is higher with salt water. So if you have FRESHWATER, halve the dosage! So before I buy more fish, copper comes into play. I noticed that within 30 minutes most of the snails in the aquarium were dead. Snails buried in the substrate die when they come to the surface. So I will complete the cycle for at least a week. I put my bristle-nosed catfish in a quarantine tank because it came out of hiding and I NEVER see it.
