I am 40 years old and have been bleaching or lightening my hair for over 20 years. This is a great toning mask! It toned down my copper blonde, left no purple undertones and added some moisture. The smell is awful and I felt like it lingered for hours. However, I have never used a toner that didn't smell unpleasant 🤷🏼‍♀️ I use it in two steps. First, I just apply it to the roots and let it sit for a few minutes. Then I pull the product down to my ends for another minute. This ensures I get good tone without my lotus tips picking up too much purple. Is it expensive? Yes How long will it take? Yes, would I recommend it? Yes, your budget allows it. But I wouldn't skimp on it as it's not life changing.
