Replace and print like NEW in less than 60 seconds!

Replaces and prints like new in less than 60 seconds. Ideal replacement cartridge for your monochrome Brother printer. Here are the steps I had to follow to get this feature working properly on the Brother HL Printer -2270DW: Revain Josh's instructions: 1) Turn on the printer (or leave it on if it's already on). 2) (I didn't have to do this step and skipped it) Make sure the white gear with the wavy arrow is on the far right on the left side of the cartridge in the 'new' position (at about 11 o' Watch). This should be set correctly from the factory, but if it isn't, make sure the arrows on the gear and on the case match up. The "starter" cartridge doesn't have this gear, but instead has a fixed black piece (with the same wavy arrow, but not moving). To align, you need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the black case (2 screws). Move them around and then screw them back in. 3) Remove the old cartridge from the drum and install a new one in its place. 4) Insert the drum and cartridge assembly into the printer. 5) (I didn't have to do this step and skipped it) Open the printer service webpage to reset the toner status. This is available via the printer's IP address in a web browser. Select "Printer Settings" and log in with "admin/access" credentials. Scroll down and change "Replace Toner" from "Stop" to "Continue". submit changes. Please note that the toner indicator did not reset immediately but went off a few minutes after replacement. Next steps from Revain user Bob B.: The following steps are for resetting the toner sensor/copy counter. Open the front cover and leave it open until Do the following: - Turn off the printer - Hold down the "Start" button (or the "Start" key) while you press turn on the printer. All indicators on the control panel should be lit - Release the "Start" button (or the "Start" button). button).- Press the "Start" button (or "Start" button) 2 times.- Pause. All indicators on the control panel must light up - Press the "Start" button (or "Start" button) 5 times. The toner light should be off. (Blink errors may occur) The paper light should be on or blinking - Close the cover. The ready light should be the only light that is on. After completing these steps, you will be printing like new. The whole process took less than 1 minute. Happy printing!
