I bought these after watching a lens repair video on Adam Savage's YouTube channel. I have two Mamiya lenses, both of which were dropped or bumped in the studio in a past life. I only noticed that when I tried to screw on a circular polarizer and a Cokin filter ring for color filters. The product is very durable and well made. It was well packed. I watched the video several times to make sure the technique is correct. I have a small metal hammer from another project, I clamped the vise in place as shown in the video and started with very light taps. I repeated this as many times as needed until the circular polarizer and filter ring were properly screwed in. Of course I was very anxious and took my time, especially at the beginning with light hammer blows and frequent checks. or somehow bent. Nice and solid.
