This is much thinner than the OEM Sea-Doo cable. After two months of use, signs of stretching began to show. Both the metal and plastic clasps feel solid and don't pose a problem. We bought this to replace the DESS cable and were able to attach the DESS module to a metal clasp that holds them together very well. You get what you pay for!
