VERY BRIGHT! Great replacement for a lightbulb. Super easy installation, no tools required. However, a flathead screwdriver may come in handy to pry the plastic case off the bezel. Then remove the existing halogen light. It gets hot if you don't do this immediately after opening the hatch and the lights weren't on before you started. You can rip out the old and put in the new. Head towards the LED light so it diffuses the light across the plastic case for maximum light diffusion in the room.
