I was a little hesitant to order this due to reviews of "slippery" carpets, but I'm happy to say it's no problem! My dog often has trouble finding a good footing on smooth surfaces such as tiles, but he immediately accepted the ramp and went up and down without any problems. The company seems to have solved this problem. My dog is a small (20lb) senior dog with some mobility issues. The bed is high and she's been on the stairs for a while but she seems to be having trouble with it lately so I figured it would be easier for her to move onto the ramp. Many of the ramps I looked at had a very steep slope that seemed to defeat our purpose. This one is perfect! It's long and wide and she uses it with no problem. It takes up quite a bit of space next to the bed, but it's worth seeing her happily bouncing up and down the ramp without hesitation! The ramp is very durable and assembly was easy. Despite the affordable price, it appears to be made of quality materials and is easy to pick up and move around. I'm also happy with the ramp design; I ordered white with gray carpet and it doesn't look cheap or out of place in my bedroom like some of the ramps. I definitely recommend this product to everyone!
