These are probably one of the most useful baby products I’ve bought in awhile! I have hardwood floors and I can’t tell you how many times my kids (now adults and teens) has hit their heads or fell face first as babies when learning to sit, crawl or walk! Now that I have grandkids I’m a lot more over protective!My 4 month old grand daughter is learning to sit and my 6 month old grandson is learning to crawl. so I bought this to use while they are over.Quality is nice and as expected! About 1/2 inch thick looking foam, lined with a vinyl cover that does not come off. Foam is good and really does cushion a lot of falls or oops situations! The vinyl is delicate and can easily be punctured by toys, nails from my dog, and or any sharp or pointed. So I suggest keeping pets or any toy that has a pointy edge off of it. Even toys you wouldn’t think can puncture it, can! Although I have a few punctures in mine it’s still great, since it’s foam and won’t deflate. so far none of the punctures has affected the durability of it.It folds easily with one hand. There is 2 sides you can choose from, it doesn’t matter what side you use cause it’s the same thickness and padding. You can pack it up and throw it in your trunk if you needed to take it somewhere. Very lightweight, even a toddler can move it. Oh speaking of moving, I suggest using carpet grippers! Like thin silicone or rubber grips underneath if you have tile or flooring cause it can slide easily and baby can fall. If you use carpet grips it’ll prevent that from happening. Other than that it sits flush on the floor so no need to worry about tripping on it. The size of it is awesome, and fits perfectly between my tv and couch, so I’m able to lay them on and watch tv without worrying about them getting hurt.Also useful as a napping pad for my older toddler age grandkids. it’s easy to clean, I just take wipes or Lysol wipes and give it a good wipe down every so often or when it gets dirty or drooled on.I do suggest this to a lot to my family and friends who come over and ask what it is. it help prevent bumps and bruises. I don’t have to Hoover over them to make sure they don’t fall. I can let them play and be babies.I gave this a 4 cause it truly is such a wonderful product, except that it slides around. I think the company should consider including floor grip corners so parents or grandparents can stick it if they choose too. That would be my only suggestion.
