My son is 33 " and fits better than I thought
My son is 33" so on the border of 24m and 2t. I chose the 2T and it's a little roomier than I'd like. He still has 2 months to grow on it, so don't exchange it for this reason. The fabric can be a good summer fabric as it is not heavy but looks dusty after washing.
