I bought one of these memory cards and it fit my thin PS2 version perfectly. I followed the instructions in other reviews which were helpful. 1.) If you are saving the game: Turn on the game and play until you are ready to save. When saving, a message about the absence of a memory card is displayed on the screen. At this point, insert a memory card. You can leave the memory card there while playing this game. 2.) Downloading the game works the same way: Download the game as usual. We go into the download and when prompted for a memory card, insert a memory card. Enjoy the game. Simple instructions that always work. Note: I didn't insert a memory card before turning it on or when switching to another game. I suspect it will read it as a PS2 memory card and try to reformat the memory card. Plus it works, just follow the instructions I can't stress enough. This memory card makes me really happy because it works and I don't have to start over a million times in Crash Bash. I can actually finish the game in 11 years. I will order another memory card once I get more PS1 games.
