They are best suited for women.

. I needed basic summer shorts and they fit perfectly. I don't know what makes them specific to yoga shorts. These are just lightweight knit shorts with a drawstring and pockets. I'm size up 18 (apple shape) and the size XXL fits a bit around the waist I can wear it but I think I would prefer the next size up The washing instructions say hang dry but I don't understand why this fabric isn't tumble dried They can last longer if not tumble dried. To be honest I think it's a bit overpriced at $21. They are Walmart quality and cost about $14.
