So it's time for some serious talk boys. My child was worried about being bullied at school and wanted me to teach him how to fight. And I wanted to be a role model as a father, so I bought some MMA gloves and this hat to train with him a bit. This headgear is comfortable, has a good fit and offers solid impact protection. That being said, I can still effectively knock my kid down with one hard punch and they get back up every time. I find sparring to be a much more effective way of mentoring and teaching him than grounding, downtime, or sending him to his room. After getting up, he always looks at things my way. Now if I could just get him to pay his half of the bills and do his and his wife's laundry all the time, I would really feel like a great father. More importantly, those college kids don't bully him anymore, so it was a total win. I got him a hat for his 28th birthday but I don't see why it wouldn't make a great year round gift. If you're looking for great protection at a great price, this headgear is for you. 5 Stars!
