It attaches nicely and securely to the iPad with 3M adhesive, even on the skin that I have on mine. The stretchy material seems to be of decent quality and holds the pencil very snugly with room for a spare tip as shown in the photos. I'm worried that the material might loosen up over time, but only time will tell. A little bonus with storing the pencil is that it serves as a good place to place your fingers to hold the iPad more securely. a lot has to come through from below because it will continue to stick to the material when the pen is pointed at it. An open stylus isn't really a problem, but when it's at the bottom of the iPad, it feels much better when the stylus tip can go in easily first. It's possible to put the whole pencil in the holder, but that's a bit awkward. Despite this problem, it's generally very convenient if you don't use a case or if you use a case without a pen holder. And that's a pretty good price for what he does.
