I use one of these to direct computer output to an HD-SDI video network for various production needs. As usual, these Blackmagic boxes work without fuss or fuss, and the price is right. When connected to a computer's HDMI or DP port, it appears as a display device in all major SDI/HD-SDI video resolutions (480p, 720p). , etc.). Set up your computer for your production resolution and off you go. The only downside I've found with the Mini Converter series is that they have a habit of getting into other teams' gear bags.
