This is a very good bedding set, from an attractive color to a silky and slightly shiny texture. I have a blue powder and that's an apt name for it. It's a light blue but has more gray than the baby blue. The texture is quite silky for 100% cotton. It doesn't have the clarity of a very high thread count sheet set, but it's still very nice. It's clearly cotton but it's a lot shinier than other cotton bedding sets I'm used to. The price is more or less reasonable compared to other kits, but I've seen much higher thread count kits for a comparable price or only $10-15 more. However, this set is clearly of high quality so I would recommend it if you prefer a shinier cotton.
