slides down = doesn't protect elbow

I really want to like them - I have knee pads and I really like them! Problem is, they keep slipping down my arms. The top of the sleeve is on top of the bicep, compared to Sam Hill (I'm not advocating them, just comparing) which is similar, but the top of the sleeve is on top of the bicep to prevent slipping down. TLD can solve this problem with a Velcro strap (like some other elbow pads) like they have on their knee pads. I've worn them about a dozen times over the course of a month in a wide variety of conditions, from desert to mountain, cross country to bike park, tech to stream - and the only positive thing I can say is that these pads can offer something forearm protection. Protection. I'm only writing this because they aren't cheap and I don't want others to waste their money. I would not recommend them to friends. I will also mention that I returned my first pair as they appeared to be torn on arrival which is something to consider in terms of design or quality. For comparison, I'm a lean 6ft, 175lbs, 14" biceps with m/l pads.
