When my son was younger we preferred Carters but now that he's older I'm not a fan of Big boy clothes (except toddler size) they make. Children's Place clothing is similar to Carter's in that it is larger than other brands and I love that almost all of their clothing has an adjustable waistband and snaps up to a size 7. Although the color on these jeans is dark, it didn't run as heavy as I thought it would. BTW I used dye traps for the first wash but they didn't trap much dye so that was a relief. They fit well and my very skinny son can easily wear these jeans with an adjustable waistband. They look great and fit well.
