SLIM is perfect for my skinny 6 year old

My 6 year old is tall and skinny and would probably fit a 4T waist if he were long enough. I looked everywhere for jeans. Didn't have to FULLY pull the elastic sides and forget about the elastic waist, they were too big (I tried Levis, Gap, Target brands). These are the ONLY jeans that fit perfectly and are this cheap! Lightweight jeans but they seem sturdy enough to last the season. The only other slim fit pants I have found are Lands End but they are under $$ so I STRONGLY recommend slim fit…

Pros
  • Button closure
Cons
  • Out of fashion

They fit great and look good.

When my son was younger we preferred Carters but now that he's older I'm not a fan of Big boy clothes (except toddler size) they make. Although the color on these jeans is dark, it didn't run as heavy as I thought it would. BTW I used dye traps for the first wash but they didn't trap much dye so that was a…

Pros
  • Classic straight leg with 5 pockets, internal adjustable drawstrings at waist and tagless
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer fit

Good Cheap Jeans

My 10 year old usually wears a size 12 skinny jeans. Sometimes we buy a "karate" style a slim fitting. They have an adjustable waist, which we like, but doesn't look like he needs it. I could probably get along with regulars and not skinny. These aren't exactly skinny jeans, and they're definitely not boot-cut (I expected that, they weren't advertised as boot-cut), and they're narrower on the leg than he'd like. There is a good length for growth. We won't give them back and he will keep them…
