Serves its purpose as a buzzer for playing family feuds. Two people hum to answer a question. When you press the big colored (red or blue) button on top, it buzzes and lights up. There are three settings, a Family Feud type buzzer and a 30 second and 60 second timer. The button below determines which setting you want to use. The time of 30 or 60 seconds starts when you press the top button. After the time has elapsed, the timer flashes briefly. If you don't look carefully, you can miss it and there will be no sound. OK, pay attention. LAUGH OUT LOUD. It's useless as a timer. You cannot reset the timer; You have to wait for it to complete its 30 or 60 second cycle. I'm not sure why the buzzer doesn't work when the timer runs out. Bad design in my opinion. It also doesn't have an on/off button. You must remove the batteries, which requires removing the screw. Bad design again. I couldn't find an alternative to the family feud game, and it fits the bill well.
