I would not work on my Polaris Ranger 800.
Delivery time was quite long. When the product arrived the cable ends were rotated 180 degrees to match the tailgate. Although it is a cable, it is not easy to turn as it will twist when the gate is raised and become jammed in the closure. Also, the latch on the fixed end doesn't prevent the end from popping out when the tailgate is opened or closed. Very thin and weak.
