The knob on the bottom of my original extension broke and wouldn't hold the hose attached to the vacuum cleaner. I am obsessed with my Shark NV370 so I was very happy to find an easy fix with this replacement wand and it works great! It took me a minute to figure out how to remove the accessory holder from the original to attach the new one, but all you have to do is twist the accessory holder counter-clockwise to unlock it, and then you can put it on the new wand and turn it clockwise. to lock it.
