Review on ViewSonic XG2705 27'' 144Hz Gaming Monitor - Frameless, FreeSync, Ergonomics, Anti-Glare by Ken Wheeler

I chose this monitor for a number of reasons. Claimed high color quality, refresh rate, and non-gamer aesthetics. However, upon turning on the monitor, I noticed a noticeable backlight blurring at the top edges of the display, to the point where you couldn't ignore it anymore. It was the very first thing I noticed. Curving the monitor also causes colors to be distorted when tilted, which doesn't bode well for build quality. This is very disappointing as it would have been a good monitor if it wasn't for the excessive backlight bleeding.
