Excellent! Most of time. A folding knife and a small metal multi-tool work wonders. Discreet, simple, fits perfectly in the wallet, works. The only problem occurred with the Outdoor Tools multifunctional rescue card. First my compass broke. A bummer because 1) the compass was the most accessible (and potentially useful) handy tool on the map, and 2) the bug is enough to make you wrinkle your nose and consider going back, but not enough to send the whole thing off. especially considering every other tool has worked so well. Second, it's definitely flimsy, but the multipurpose OT rescue card, especially with the rope and whistle attached to it, makes your wallet really bulky. Other tools didn't really work, even with the usual cards, cash, and ID you'd normally carry in your wallet. It's fine as there are other places to keep it, but it'll brick your wallet if you're really going to carry it with everything else every day. Again, overall a great purchase - you're never caught off guard, but I have mixed feelings about certain aspects of the OT Rescue Card.
