What's wrong with that toothpaste crest?

I've never had tooth decay in my life. I've been using Crest since I was a kid. I thought this toothpaste sounded really great and the stannous fluoride really protected my teeth. I WAS WRONG! This toothpaste gave me a burning sensation in my mouth, tooth sensitivity, dry mouth and gum pain. I thought there was something seriously wrong with me. While doing some research on the effects of stannous fluoride, I came across a consumer site with pages upon pages of people who had experienced the same thing using this toothpaste and Crest Gum Detoxify toothpaste. Why is this happening to Crest Corporation? I believe Crest is owned by P&G. Please explain, and if there is such a big problem, better fix it or take it off the market. By the way, since I stopped using your toothpaste and tried Jason's, I'm back to normal. PS: I should have researched the ingredients of this particular toothpaste, but I trusted Crest. One of the ingredients is caustic soda, i.e. alkali, a sewer cleaner. God, could lye make my mouth burn? Can't find a less toxic ingredient to balance your PH? WOW!
