This works great on my '98 Tacoma 4x4 Extended Cab with a rear driveshaft on the rear axle. The Moog website also states that this works for the rear driveshaft on the gearbox as well as both gimbals on the front driveshaft. Check the Moog website to make sure. I'm ordering another one for my rear propshaft in the gearbox. This has cured my horrible vibration while driving but I feel like the other one needs to be replaced as well. After that it should be smooth. The hardest part of the installation is removing the old gimbal. I placed the yolk on the 2x4 and slammed the sledgehammer right into the socket on the bearing shell. Clamp the cup in a vise when it is out far enough. First watch some YouTube videos.
