Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Bamboo Solo Stylus for iPad - Black (CS100K) [Old Version]: Reliable and Precise Touchscreen Pen by Dan Deng

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great pen. Good thing the tips are interchangeable!

I use this stylus for everything, every day with my iPad. I use it to take notes for my college classes, use it to surf the web, mark up articles as I read them, and sometimes even use it on my phone! I've noticed that the stylus has a hard time gliding when the screen is TOO clean - just like you'd expect rubber on glass. However, with a few fingerprints on the screen for oil, the stylus glides smoothly and perfectly. I have two issues with this stylus which is why it only got four stars. 1) I've had to replace the tip about once. Quarter. At $3 for a tip and having to keep it on hand at all times, it's a pain. The nibs are very easy to swap out in under a minute, so my main complaint is that if the pen is on sale for $10, why would I pay $12 a year to own it? Would you pay $24,000 a year to own a $20,000 car? no Never. 2) After long hours of work, the screw cap will become very loose and body parts will begin to separate from each other. The design is a friction (or compression) fit between the top (where the clip is located) and the bottom (black part) part. Over time, these parts will separate from each other, making the pen a bit odd to use, but very useful nonetheless! I made notes like this for half a semester. Overall a great product. Not without its flaws, but that hasn't stopped me from buying another one with lots of interchangeable heads today!
