Review on 🪑 Grey EdgeMod Manchester Office Chair by Katie Alvarado

I totally regret this purchase. The chair looks good but that's the only good thing I can say about it. It's incredibly uncomfortable, especially the top of the back digs into me (I'm 6ft 3in) and the seat is just padded. Sitting in it for hours, doing virtual meetings and working on my computer gets awful, and I constantly find myself sitting on blankets and using pillows to raise my back off the chair. The workmanship is ok so far, but I've only had it for a few months, the armrests loosen over time so I have to tighten them once every few weeks, the seat also wobbles back and forth, which means I can't find a solution, I've braced the seat a million times to no avail. I suspect it has something to do with the seat not fitting properly on the hydraulic cylinder, but who knows. Also, this chair is SUPER loud. In any case, the thing creaks and creaks uncomfortably, even tightening all the bolts and screws as tight as I can silences it for a day at most. I have many online meetings that I attend on a daily basis, and I'm constantly worried that I'll make a strange noise into the microphone when I'm moving. It shouldn't bother me. I wish I had that awful chair back. Please do yourself a favor and buy yourself a good ergonomic office chair if you actually intend to use one. If you just want a nice chair that doesn't get used at all, this could be the chair for you. I can't wait to save up and buy a nice REAL office chair and throw that one on the curb.
