These should be good all-purpose scissors. I especially like the long and sharp blades. The glossy blue handle is eye-catching and the overall design is clean and modern. I may not be able to use them. When I compare them to a pair of scissors that fit my hand and fingers perfectly, it looks like the problem here might be the difference in the position of the "eye holes" in the handle. The distance between the tips of each "eye hole" on Chef Craft scissors is approximately 2.5 centimeters; the difference between the highest point of the eye holes on my handy scissors is only 1.25 centimeters. If the thumb hole is too far below the finger hole, your thumb and other fingers will be too far apart, making it difficult to get a good grip and control of the scissors. Anyway these are good scissors and I wish they would work better for me but they don't.
