This is a beautiful rich lip balm. For me it's too rich for the day, so I understand why it's positioned as a nighttime remedy. The balm is applied to the lips and gives the mouth area moisture and a beautiful shine. The lips shine. I personally use petroleum jelly for nightly lip balm. It's inexpensive and works well for me. But it's definitely a more luxurious product. And some people prefer without petroleum jelly. The product description says it's also vegan, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic, and allergen-free - all good! It would be nice if, for hygienic reasons, a small spatula for removing the product was included in the kit. Overall I think this is a very good lip care product.
