I ordered this speaker because it had good reviews and it looked dated. I liked the idea of having an FM radio option. I have this little box from Revain. I looked at it and thought this speaker will never be powerful enough for home use. So I decided to take this speaker to my office and leave it on a shelf hoping it would be loud enough that I could hear it within 3 feet of my desk and as background music. Due to office closures due to the pandemic, this was put on hold and the speaker sat in the crate for several weeks. In the end I decided to take it and give it a try. WOW! I was amazed by the sound of this little power station! I will post it there. I'm not an audiophile. I just know when I like the sound coming out of the speaker and I like the sound coming out of it. I know enough to know that a wooden case should produce a more resonant sound, and this little guy has it. I took it to the backyard and played there for a few hours. It was a clear, loud, great sound and I didn't lose a charge in that time. The maximum charging time has not yet been clarified. My family loves it and they want more of it. The illuminated dials are available in different colors for each source and add a cool vintage touch. FM signal strength is excellent. I'm using an aux connection and haven't tried Bluetooth yet, but I don't expect any problems. Using the other features as a guide, this is a quality speaker. I need a few more if I bring this to my office!
