If you're good at automotive electrical work, this set is for you. No wiring diagram is supplied but I was able to look at the wiring harness and figure it out myself as I'm a former mechanic. Main wiring harness with switch: Large white wire: chassis/chassis ground. Red wire with fuse holder: Positive (to power). Small red wire on splitter: Positive (connects to white wire with red stripe on headlamp harness). Small black wire on splitter: Ground (connects to solid white wire on headlight). wiring harness). I had to extend the wiring from the switch harness to get to the lighting harness that was installed on the opposite side of the bed from where I installed the switch. For this I used 10 foot 16 gauge twin wire. built-in 5A fuse at this connection point. I also soldered and heat shrunk the connections to avoid potential corrosion issues. Mounting surfaces for light modules must be cleaned with rubbing alcohol and dried before applying with the supplied adhesive. Each light module must then be pushed into place and held for 10 seconds to allow the adhesive to set as you work your way down. Make sure the temperature is at least 50 degrees Fahrenheit when you do this. This kit does a great job illuminating the inside of the 6.5" bed under the trunk lid of my 2002 GMC Sierra.
