I was skeptical at first but took the risk and I'm so HAPPY I did! They're bright, durable, and the remote control capabilities are impressive! I have them screened in my 6 x 7 on the porch, upstairs and protected from moisture. I used 2 sets thinking 1 wouldn't be bright enough but I could do with just one. The distance between the USB and the light is good and long so my lights emanate from the ceiling instead of going up the wall. These wires are uncoated and uncoated, flexible wires only. They unwound easily, they didn't twist or tie, they untied easily. Please remember that the wires are very thin and when unwinding, be careful not to twist or pinch them. I also bought a power cord with multiple USB plugs, but I should mention that the USB plugs on these lights are larger than regular ones. So if you're using a multi-port device where the ports are close together, they'll have to be the second one plugged in because of their size, but that's okay. I used the 8 hour timer and it worked great. I'll update when I have them for a while.
