For candles I use straight 2.88 inch 9 oz cans. short. I finished a batch of twelve candles and many of the wicks were off center. If you make candles, you know that it can affect your burn pool and cause your jars to overheat and burst. If you have multiple jar sizes, this product may fit the other size correctly.
