This little organizer has a lot of great features. It has a nice translucent lid, dividers that slide out and move easily to customize the storage space inside, and the lid closes really well. What kills the feature for me is that the lid doesn't lay flat. I have had a number of bad experiences in the past with containers that have their lids protruding as shown in the picture and which were advised not to lay flat. It's very easy to accidentally bump into that protruding lid in the middle of a project and eventually the contents of your materials will be ejected almost entirely to the outside and at worst can actually act as a catapult and be thrown overboard, creating a messy situation. This has happened to me before when I put watering parts in a similar box and kicked it to where the watering parts were now dirty and scattered randomly on the floor. While I otherwise really like these cute little containers, the lack of design really kills the feature for me personally. It made me reconsider what I was originally going to use the bins for and instead put in things that were already individually wrapped or bulky enough that cleaning wasn't a big deal.
