Review on πŸ‘ž Men's Keaton Kiltie Tassel Loafer Comfort Shoes and Slip-Ons by Nick Ross

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Comfortable fit out of the box; Shelf life not yet known

This shoe looks good cosmetically and is well made both inside and out. I appreciate the good fit right out of the box. These shoes didn't need to be broken in before wearing them all day. The gel heel is a nice feature - it's more comfortable than a regular felt insole. However, I was surprised at how thin the sole of the shoe is. It appears to be one-piece rather than the traditional two-piece design. Because of its thinness, it conveys uneven surfaces, unlike other tassel loafers I've had (Bass, Boston, etc.). As these are dress shoes and are sometimes worn on gravel etc I hope this isn't too much of a problem. Another reviewer noted that they cannot be resolved. I think they probably could be, but with one sole rather than the usual removal/replacement due to their one-piece sole design.

Pros
  • Made in USA or imported
Cons
  • This makes me angry
