Our dog has trouble digesting Beneful dog food but that doesn't make it bad in any way. I bought this superfood mix for my parents Maltese who have no problem with these mixes or other Beneful foods. I wish we could feed our dog Beneful because it's a better dog food than what we feed Sally - one can only say. This special six-pack contains an amazing combination of ingredients: - two cans of chicken, sea fish, apples, cabbage and millet - two cans of beef, salmon, squash, spinach and sorghum - two cans of lamb, trout, sweet potatoes, quinoa and blueberries. It sounds like great food for humans. Beneful dog food contains no artificial colours, flavors or preservatives. Hats off. The food is described on the packaging as "high in antioxidants" with omega-6 fatty acids and high protein to support the dog's immune system, skin and coat and muscles. What's inside is rich and fresh and can easily be mixed into solid dog food if desired. Our dog, who as mentioned gets stomach problems when eating Beneful dog food, unknowingly ingests it. As do my parents' dogs, who eat it every day with no problem. Addendum: Beneful is one of the best dog food brands out there in my opinion and this superfood mix has the usual rich mix of different food preparations. Foods that dogs enjoy. The combination of chicken, sea fish, apples and cabbage with a hint of millet is actually quite exotic and ... maybe too much for dog food. Our dog eats Beneful food so quickly that he sometimes vomits. That shows how much she is a fan. I've already said that Beneful is one of those dog food brands that makes formulas that people love, although of course that doesn't mean people eat the crap! My parents' little dogs, meanwhile, eat Beneful every day and get many different flavors including this one. The "real chicken" formula in this food is free from artificial colours, flavors and preservatives. Also, this dog food is high in protein, which is said to help the dog's muscles. The individual 9-ounce containers are sealed tight and have a protective peel-off lid that you can leave on if you don't eat your entire meal in one sitting. And that's what I love about Beneful too: the soft kibble is easy to mix into the hard pebbles of the dog food and pop out a little at each feeding.
