Review on πŸ•οΈ WEANAS Professional Backpacking Tent: Spacious, Weatherproof, 3-4 Person Double Layer Tent for Outdoor Adventure Travel by Scott Rao

Revainrating 3 out of 5

No cold tent. Has flaws.

Edit September 29, 2020: I literally lived in this tent for 30 days during hunting season. And I feel like I can do a thorough review. The days were warm and the nights dropped to 25 degrees Fahrenheit. For the rain - 5 stars. Excellent rain protection. Wind 3 stars. I had to use mud and pine needles to stop the wind. Paul got 2 stars because he was skinny. 5 stars for material and zippers (no bottom). swings to the right. I lost 3 just to install it. The small triangular windows didn't close completely, allowing my breath and body heat to escape easily. In my experience this is not a cold weather tent. Spring and summer only. The bottom is very thin. You should bring a tarp. Which defeats the purpose of a lightweight backpacking tent. I'm disappointed in lattice walls. As this is a three season tent I expect it to be built for cold fall weather. All 4 walls of the inner tent are single mesh. There are no interior walls, so you can't close it without a raincoat. Even if it rains. I was cold because the floor material was only 4 inches off the ground and the rain cover was about 2 inches off the ground, which only created 2 or 3 inches of overlap. Not much to keep your warm air in. Three or four season tents should be double walled. This one claims it's 3 seasons but it's single walled, poorly designed and a blatant lie claiming it's 3 seasons. 2 seasons at best, with better rain and wind protection than normal tents. If you're looking for a cold weather tent, look elsewhere.

Pros
  • TWO DOORS OPEN - Super classic interior design, the door can be opened from inside and outside, convenient and comfortable. Stitch window, outside the tent roof, there are two closing ventilation windows in the roof, easy to use
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
