These batteries use higher quality cells and perform like the original OEM batteries. The key to choosing seems to be buying a battery that the vendor puts their name on. 9 times out of 10 when I have purchased one with no brand name, they are junk that fail rapidly and are cheap knock-offs.We have installed over 30 of these with no issues in older MacBook Pro laptops under refurbishment.
