I have a collection of Thunderbolt docks, I hate them all. There's always some aspect that doesn't work properly, be it outgoing screen resolutions or USB hubs that don't look right. This is the first one I really liked and I really use it. I have a Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2020) and haven't had any deal breaker issues. From time to time it will hate the device I'm plugging in, but I've been working on it. I would still plan on using the power cord that came with the laptop if planning on gaming.
